D: L’aggiornamento non viene eseguito, viene visualizzato un messaggio di errore, cosa devo fare?
R: Innanzitutto Sims 4 Updater è solo a 64 bit, quindi assicurati che anche Windows sia a 64 bit. È scritto in Python 3.10 e hanno abbandonato il supporto di Windows 7 in 3.9, quindi se hai Windows 7, aggiornalo a 8 o versioni successive. E infine assicurati di aver installato VC Redist 2015-2022 x64 e che il tuo antivirus non lo blocchi.

D: Ricevo errori di download, cosa devo fare?
R: Puoi provare a utilizzare una VPN, come ProtonVPN. Se è troppo lento, considera di scaricare i file manualmente.
Se il programma di aggiornamento non è in grado di eseguire l’aggiornamento automatico, scarica tu stesso la versione più recente.

D: Ricevo altri errori, cosa devo fare?
R: Il primo colpevole è il tuo antivirus. Disabilitalo. Se ciò non aiuta a ripristinare i permessi dei file (vedi domanda sotto). Se ciò non aiuta a copiare l’intero Updater (“sims-4-updater-.exe”, tutti i file “updater_*” e la cartella “updater_tmp”) da qualche altra parte. Questo è importante: COPIA, non spostare. Se ciò non aiuta prova a copiare il tuo gioco da qualche altra parte. Di nuovo: COPIA, non spostare.
